A small amount of tingling for the first days, bruising around the incisions and swelling or oedema for a few weeks is normal. In the 1st month, your breasts may feel tense and you may also have oedema in your breasts, this is totally normal. They will gradually start to feel softer and oedema will subside. In between 3-6 months, your breast tissue will become like your natural breast tissue and you will feel much better.
