Eye Treatments

Read below for pre-op and aftercare instructions for your preferred Eye Treatment in Turkey.

Prior to your eye treatment in Turkey

You should:

-Wear comfortable clothes. 

-Avoid wearing makeup and/or perfumes. 

In addition to the instructions above,

Prior to LASIK eye surgery,

If you use soft/daily lenses, you should remove them at least 2 weeks before and if you use hard lenses, you should remove them at least 4 weeks before.

To maintain a good aftercare for LASIK eye surgery

You should:

-Rest and keep your eyes closed as much as possible during the first 24 hours.

-Avoid touching your eyes during the first 24 hours.

-Use your medication on time and as instructed by your eye surgeon. 

-Avoid swimming in the sea or in a pool at least for 2 weeks.

-Avoid wearing makeup at least for 1 week.

-Avoid heavy activities for a few weeks.

To maintain a good aftercare for lens replacement surgery

You should:

-Avoid touching your eyes during the first 24 hours.

-Wear your protective glasses as long as instructed. 

-Use your eye drops on time as instructed by your eye surgeon. 

-Avoid water splashing into your eyes at least for 7 days.

To maintain a good aftercare for cataract surgery

You should:

-Avoid touching your eyes during the first 24 hours.

-Wear your protective glasses as long as instructed. 

-Use your eye drops on time as instructed by your eye surgeon. 

-Avoid water splashing into your eyes at least for 7 days.

-Avoid sleeping on the side of your operated eye as long as instructed. 

-Avoid lifting heavy stuff as long as instructed. 

-Avoid being in a dusty environment as long as instructed. 

-Protect your eyes from any possible damage. 

-Wash your hands before using your eye drops.

-Protect the dropper from touching your eyelashes and the cap of the eye drop.
